  • Your publication should relate to the relevant ARM product, service or related technology.
  • Do not use ARM’s trademarks, product names, service names or technology names in the title of any publication without prior written authorization from ARM. You may refer to ARM's trademarks in a non-prominent way in sub-titles and subsequent headings and text if you comply with the ARM Trademark Use Guidelines and these additional guidelines.

  • You may not use any ARM logo without prior written authorization from ARM. Please refer to ARM Logo Permission Requests if you want permission to use an ARM logo.
  • You may not use any ARM copyright material without prior written authorization from ARM. Please refer to ARM Copyright Permission Requests if you want permission to use any ARM copyright material.
  • You may not use or imitate any ARM tagline or slogan in an external publication. This includes, but is not limited to the slogan "The Architecture for the Digital World®.”
  • Use the appropriate trademark symbol with the first or most prominent appearance of the trademark in the body of text of the publication.
  • You do not have to use trademark symbols in headlines unless there is no accompanying text then you should include it.
  • Use the appropriate trademark symbol on each subsequent page if the topic is different to the one on the previous page or if the pages can be separated and distributed independently.
  • Do not use inaccurate or misleading nouns after an ARM trademark. A list of approved nouns is provided for each ARM trademark in the ARM Trademark List.
  • Include a suitable trademark notice for ARM’s ownership of its trademarks in your publication. Suitable notices are provided for each ARM trademark in the ARM Trademark List.
  • Do not alter the spelling or form of ARM’s trademarks by abbreviating them, creating acronyms, translating them, joining them to other words, symbols or numbers (either as one word or with a hyphen unless otherwise permitted, e.g. ARM® Cortex®-A15), or using improper capitalization. However, permitted capitalization occurs when using an ARM word trademark in headlines, titles or text where all of the surrounding words are shown in uppercase characters. In this situation, you may use the relevant ARM trademark in uppercase characters, provided that such use complies with these guidelines.
  • Do not use ARM’s trademarks, logos, slogans and other names more prominently than your own trademarks, logos, slogans and other names. Other names include, but are not limited to company names, trade names, product names, service names and technology names.
  • Do not use ARM’s trademarks in any manner that expresses or implies that ARM has any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval of your product, service or company. Use the following statement in publications:
“This publication is independent and it is not affiliated with, or endorsed, sponsored or authorized by ARM Limited."
