HiveFlex VSP2200 is a high performance C-programmable vector processor optimized for video pre-/post- processing and encoding/decoding. HiveFlex VSP2200 series services the needs from low (CIF) to high-end (1080p HD and beyond) video displays by using a unique scalable tiled architecture. HiveFlex VSP2200 computes up to 64 GOPS with a single tile instance and scales to address a video pipeline of several functions with multiple instances of the VSP tile. Since the VSP tile architecture addresses the core of video processing in HDTV, STB and TV-on-Mobile SoCs, it enables thereby a platform approach for the entire video application domain.
