The receiver is a robust heterodyne architecture, incorporating Kaben's on-chip "SAW Replacement" filter technology, providing 60 dB adjacent channel selectivity.
The transmitter architecture is based on Kaben's very low phase noise and spur level DS synthesizer. Gaussian FSK, differential QPSK and differential 8PSK modulation is provided, in support of both BT1.2 and BT 2.0 + EDR.
