Liber8 by Octymo Ltd.

Application Software

Product Description

The Liber8 platform is a mobile applications software platform that sits on top of a real-time operating system and a modem.

The platform is targeted at the mass market, and has been specifically optimised for the ARM processor architecture. The Liber8 platform has been ported on both the ARM7 and ARM9 processors.

Key to success in the mass-market from a software perspective is:

  • efficiency (use of memory and processor resources as well as development efficiency),

  • speed (time to market),

  • flexibility (the ability to easily and quickly configure a wide variety of target market builds),

  • portability (quickly adapt to the best silicon offering), and,

  • cost (minimising both development cost and product cost).

The Liber8 platform has been designed and architected with all these key factors in mind from the outset.
