Product Description
The ACM500 Advanced console manager platforms provide 1-4 serial ports (Cisco pinout), 2 USB and 1-2 Ethernet ports, internal analog modem, 3G cellular or 802.11n options. The ACM5000 product line enables cost effective remote control of network and computer devices, power distribution and environmental monitoring with one low cost small footprint unit.
The base system has a 250Mhz Micrel KSZ8692 ARM9 System on Chip core with 32MB DDR RAM 16MB embedded flash and 1GB local flash for custom code and logs.
The ACM500 is an open source platform that comes with a free Linux custom development kits (CDK). Using the CDK you can generate custom firmware images without certain programs or with new custom programs included; or with unique configuration files or custom defaults in the firmware image.
