The PE-SDIOD3.0 is highly configurable and is fully compliant with the latest SDIO specification version 3.0. The Core supports SPI, SD1, and SD4 bit transfer modes for Non- embedded applications and 8bit transfer mode for embedded applications. The simple and flexible interface of the device controller enables the user integrate the IP into System on Chip (SoC) with any system bus structure. The Controller is designed to operate at a maximum frequency of 208MHz and to achieve throughput of 832Mbps for Non-embedded applications and can be configured to achieve throughput of 1.664Gbps enabling faster data transfer rates for embedded SDIO applications. The IP is fully backward compatible to earlier SDIO standards.
