uSwish – A Graphical User Interface Platform
uSwish is a graphical user interface platform built from the ground up to address the requirements of today’s next generation, natural user interfaces! Unlike other embedded user interface solutions, uSwish was created specifically to address the requirements of today’s embedded devices and is highly optimized for the ARM processor architecture. Multi-touch, gestures and physics are fully supported and implemented with a focus on performance and overall responsiveness.
uSwish performs like a custom built user interface with all the benefits of having an OS and hardware agnostic platform.
isGPU – intelligent software Graphical processor library (2D & 3D)
The YOU i Labs isGPU product is a portable software graphic rendering engine, developed by a team with deep technical knowledge and understanding of the ARM architecture. With our development mantra of “math is cheaper than materials” we place our strict focus on performance and quality. Such optimizations include minimizing expensive operations such as mathematical calculations while understanding device memory constraints such as speed and CPU cache size.
The isGPU removes both cost and complexity associated with using a GPU to drive the user interface. However, If a GPU is present in the design, our rendering platform can dynamically and efficiently make decisions based on the content to render in either software or hardware mode to ensure an optimal frame rate and lower battery consumption.
