Slabs provides design and development services for digital and mixed-signal embedded electronic systems, working with the latest microprocessors, data converters and programmable logic. High-end hardware and firmware/software solutions as well as complete turnkey product development.

We perform engineering at both detail and system level. Planning and execution of projects, from initial requirements specification through development, construction/validation of prototypes and sent to production, with the associated documents development for each stage.
The designs are based mainly on the following technologies:

  • Microcontrollers. Working with a wide variety of architectures, for 32-bitters we usually develop with ARM Cortex-Mx devices.
  • Digital Signal Processors (DSP).
  • Programmable logic platforms (FPGA).
  • Softcores on FPGA. E.g., ARM Cortex-M1 centered, AMBA based SoCs on Microsemi (Actel) devices.

We provide solutions for analysis, modeling and simulation of dynamical systems, which allow us to design and implement:

  • Closed-loop, automatic control algorithms.
  • Digital filters in general.
