MasterImage 3D invented, patented and mass-produced the crispest and most flexible glasses-free 3D technology, Cell-Matrix Parallax Barrier.  While some parallax technologies are a series of stripes, our solution is numerous cell gaps that allow more polarized light to pass through, creating brighter, sharper images.  Moiré patterns are less noticeable than with striped parallax barriers.  Further, it can switch off vertical and horizontal barriers to interchange between landscape and portrait modes.

The MasterImage 3D Cell-Matrix Barrier stacks a polarizer on top of a liquid crystal display separated by layers of glassing. The TN LCD layer is integrated onto the TFT LCD with our bonding adhesive to create our display structure. This highly flexible solution can work with any LCD vendor. And since there are no maximum resolution constraints, the technology can scale to the resolution of your project.

The MasterImage 3D CELL is a newly created tablet like reference design for the use and implementation of MasterImages 3D’s patented autostereoscopic (glasses free) 3D based on its ground breaking cell designed parallax barrier.  Available in 3 screen sizes, 4.3”, 7.0” and 10.1” the CELL itself ships either with a touchscreen or wireless mouse/keyboard interface for easy programming.  The CELLs run the latest Android operating system and are based on either NVIDIA’s Tegra or Texas Instruments OMAP processor boards.
