The DepthSense 311 is a consumer-ready 3D camera that combines a RGB sensor and a patented depth sensor. It has state-of-the-art sensitivity and depth resolution as well as optimal system performance and 2 microphones. Ideal for home entertainment use, the DepthSense 311 is available as a professional kit as well as a white label product for OEMs. The camera is suitable for both close (15cm to 1.5m) and far interaction (1.5m to 4m) and can be powered by cable or a single USB connection.

The DS311 can be purchased online at www.softkinetic.com/store.aspx. Optimized for high performance, the DS311 is available on the ARM Cortex-A9 development platform upon request.

Second generation long range technology with higher depth resolution, wider Field of View and 720p RGB sensor is coming in 2013.
