Automotive Chassis Control Systems
Proven in ABS designs today, ARM’s Embedded Cores provide an excellent basis for future Chassis Control Platforms. From the proven ARM7TDMI® core for entry level designs, through to the newly introduced ARM1156T2-S™ which incorporates new Built-in-Self-Test (BIST) features and methods to handle soft errors in the surrounding memory system. The new Cortex-M and Cortex-R families based on the latest architecture version ARMv7 offer improved code density for more efficient memory usage and better architectural efficiency allowing lower operating frequencies. They incorporate the latest technologies developed with nearly 10 years of experience in braking systems, such as improved real time behaviour and fine grain memory protection.
