The Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) is designed to provide partners with the simplest possible interface to work with in their systems. Typically, components placed on the APB bus will be low bandwidth, high-access latency, infrequently accessed devices. Putting them onto a separate bus allows other busses in the system (be they AHB or AXI) to be used for higher bandwidth tasks. ARM offers a number of APB PrimeCell Products to assist designers build complex systems-on-chip as quickly as possible. As would be expected from PrimeCell Peripherals these products are designed and validated to the highest of standards, support the broadest range of industry tools and offer excellent value for money. If you cannot find the products you are looking for on these pages, you would like to request we produce additional PrimeCells or you would like to trial these products then please contact us here. If you require PrimeCells supporting alternative protocols, AXI products can be found here and AHB products here. For more information on these, or other AMBA devices, please contact your local ARM representative. Alternatively you can submit an email enquiry here. Back to Top |
