This download provides patch version 3.1.2 (build 772) of the RealView ICE (RVI) unit firmware and is an upgrade from v3.1 firmware. N.B. In order to install this patch, you will first need to obtain and install v3.1 of RealView-ICE software and firmware. Installation Instructions To upgrade the RVI firmware you have to use the RVI Update utility supplied with the RealView ICE software. The RealView ICE User Guide covers the use of this utility. RVI 3.1.2 addresses the following issues in RVI 3.1.0
- Reset hold and post reset delay timings were longer than configured
- Reduced timeouts for code sequences giving better response in error situations
- Corrupt trace captures led to multiple triggers in RVT buffer
Issues using RVI 3.1.2 firmware with configuration generated for RVI 3.1.0 or earlier
- RealView ICE 3.1.1 has added new configuration options since RVI 3.1.0. Users should reconfigure any existing RVI 3.1.0 (or earlier) generated configuration when connecting to RVI 3.1.1 firmware for the first time.
