This patch can only be applied to an RVDS 3.1 Professional Windows or Linux install. It will upgrade RVDS 3.1 Professional to distribution 288.

If you have the standard version of RVDS you should use the RVDS 3.1 Standard Patch for Windows and Linux download.

The following components will be modified: RVD 3.1 updated to build 1107

The patch consists of a zip file containing an executable and a separate readme. Installation instructions and full details of the issues addressed in this patch release are contained within the readme. Please read this document first.

NOTE: Please check the correct RVD build is reported after completing the install.

NOTE: If you have installed RVDS at a non default location you must select Custom Destination when prompted and browse to the appropriate folder. Failure to do this will generate the error message "No suitable products found".

Summary of issues addressed by this patch:

This patch addresses the following issues for RVDS 3.1 Pro:
RVD: Correct enumeration of CP15 for Arch v7R cores, add support for IE bit (DE 501164)
RVD: Improve speed of image load (DE 571223)
RVD: Fix failure in image load related to normalising paths (DE 527965)
RVD: Fix possible crash caused by erroneous image load to invalid memory area (DE 523325)
RVD: Fix scripts associated with RVD start menu entries on Linux installs (DE 572818)
RVD: Enhancements for debug of Faraday 626 and 526 targets (DE 540569)

The following fixes are included and were addressed in previous patches to RVDS 3.1 Pro:
RVD: Fix failure to return trace in cycle accurate mode when buffer wraps (DE 476266)
RVD: Fix debug memory operations so TZ state is respected (516363)
RVD: Fixed regression in speed of memory download (DE 496565)
RVD: Writes to the memory window are corrupted in big endian systems (DE 501022)
RVD: Secure trace decompression fails while in non-secure state (DE 495263)
RVD: Fix crash on load of image with corrupt debug information (DE 500263)
RVD: Prevent automatic trace re-enable when an image is reloaded (DE 367774)
RVD: Prevent automatic trace re-enable after changing settings in the Analysis window (DE 392384)
RVD: Disconnect command can no longer be pended (DE 501722)
RVD: Fix to update Process pane on a running target (DE 501717)
RVD: Fix patch to force update to desktop & quickstart icon (DE 505616)
