[Updated 17-Jun-2008]

FPGA and PLD configuration binary images for the PB-A8 baseboard:

  • System ('Southbridge') FPGA  build 3
  • Debug FPGA build 0
  • ispClock5620 build 0
  • Chip Select PLD build 0
  • Streamer PLD build 0

The PB-A8 has some programmable logic on-board: Two FPGAs,  two PLDs and an ispClock 5620 IC. This zip file contains the first released builds of the binary configuration images for these devices.

Note 1: The zip file does not contain the Progcards utility that must be used to reprogram the FPGAs and PLDs. The latest version of Progcards must be downloaded separately and combined with these boardfiles to effect the full programming solution.

Note 2: The binary images for the FPGAs have the file extension '.fix'. These are essentially Xilinx .bit files with added zero padding to make them fit into the 16-bit flash chips used on this board. The latest version of Progcards will handle this new file type.
