[Updated 03-Jun2008 - Boot Monitor version 4.1.3]

From this page you can download binary images for the Boot Monitor program and associated utilities for the following baseboards:

  • AB926EJ-S
  • PB926EJ-S
  • EB
  • PB11MPCore
  • PB1176JZF-S
  • PB-A8

The latest available version and some previous versions of the Boot Monitor are included in the Zip file.

Although the Boot Monitor for all of the board types is built from the same sources, there are several different image files. The AB926EJ-S and PB926EJ-S will run the same image. There is a different build for the EB and for each Versatile baseboard that was released subsequently. On the Versatile family CD-ROM there are both little and big-endian variants for some of the boards, but only the little-endian variants are includes in this download file. For boards which have both DoC (Disk on Chip) and NOR flash devices; the same boot monitor image will run from both flash areas.

Instructions for programming the image into the Flash memory on your board are given in the 'Getting Started' section of the user guides for these boards, which can be found here: Boards User Guides. Also included in the Zip file are the debugger 'obey script' files which are mentioned in the user guide instructions. These are necessary to setup the board memory map and SDRAM controller if there is no existing boot monitor in Flash.

The source files and build projects for the Boot Monitor are not included in the Zip file - they are present on the Versatile Family CD-ROM that ships with these boards.
