[New 15 Apr 05] Spansion EEPROM update v2.0 On some of the 'second generation' Spansion Flash modules shipped with the Versatile/PB926EJ-S, the identification EEPROM was not programmed with the values specified in the Versatile/PB926EJ-S user guide. These boards are not recognized correctly by versions of the boot monitor before v2.0.2. This utility can be used to read the contents of the EEPROM on 2nd generation Spansion static memory expansion boards, and reprogram it with correct values. The files in this directory are: spansion_eeprom_update.c: C source code build.bat: batch file for ADS v1.2 or RVDS v2.1 spansion_eeprom_update.axf: software image generated with ADS v1.2, compatible with RVDS v2.1

Note - There is a similar utility in existence for correcting the same problem on 1st generation Spansion Flash modules, which were shipped with the first batch of V/PB926EJ-S boards (early 2004). It can be found here.
