Smart Glasses with Spectacular Vision

As smart glasses continue to get smarter, the Vuzix Blade is making hands-free, mobile computing a reality, with features and functionality primed for the future of augmented reality (AR).

Vuzix Blade smart glasses combine haptic controls with batteries, USB connection, noise-cancelling microphones, a full color see-through display, HD camera, and more using the power of Arm-based technology. If needed, the smart glasses can communicate with a smartphone companion app via Bluetooth or wifi to reproduce text messages, emails, alerts, and notifications on the glasses.

Available in several design options that can include prescription inserts, these smart glasses offer advanced technology with a stylish form factor. The wearer can see overlaid information, indoors or out, such as mapping directions, restaurant menus, weather information, sports scores, and alerts without picking up a second screen. 

Additional applications under development include close captioning for language translation in theme parks, public safety and security applications using facial recognition, see-what-I-see video and audio phone calls, voice-to-text language translation and transcription for deaf students in the classroom, and a head-up-display for work instructions to support various industrial needs such as calibrating equipment and manufacturing.
