TrustZone Random Number Generator

The use of unpredictable random numbers underpins most modern security schemes. A True Random Number Generator (TRNG) is a mandatory component in any system that generates cryptographic assets.

Features and Benefits

Based on Physical Sources of Entropy

The Arm TrustZone TRNG hardware module generates full entropy bits based on a physical process. It is responsible for creating true random bits, used to seed Deterministic Random Bit Generator (DRBG) algorithms.

Meets Top Security Standards

The Arm TrustZone TRNG conforms to all leading standards, drafts and statistical test suites. The TRNG conforms to NIST SP800-90B, NIST SP800-22, FIPS 140-2, and BSI AIS-31 for industry-leading security.

Made out of Standard Library Cells

The Arm TrustZone TRNG is completely digital and made out of standard library cells. Entropy is collected from analog properties of the digital cells.
